The alternative dispute resolution (ADR) between consumers and traders is out-of-court conciliation procedure on a voluntary basis.

The joint conciliation commissions assist in reaching agreements between consumers and traders in disputes over contracts for the sale of goods and the provision of services.

The general conciliation commissions are determined on a regional basis, whereby the General Conciliation Commission, with its seat in Sofia and operating on the territory of Sofia District, is competent to resolve disputes between a Trader and a User.

You can find the consolidated list of the recognized ADR bodies of the Member States of the European Union can be found at: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.adr.show
