NFT and the new model of buying art

The digital painting “Everydays: The First 5000 Days” by contemporary artist Mike Winkelman, also known as Beeple, was sold at auction at Christie’s for a record $ 69.35 million, writes The New York Times
The painting is a collage of 5,000 images that Beeple has published daily since 2007. The starting price of the painting was only $ 100, and the auction itself lasted two weeks. In the last few seconds, many offers were received, which forced the organizers to continue the auction, due to which the price of the painting exceeded 60 million dollars.
