Emanuela Kovach is born and works in Bulgaria, but her impressive career and over 20 years of experience led her to numerous exhibitions with a strong response in Bulgaria and abroad, among which are 49 + – t center gallery, Pleven, Bulgaria, Black & White – gallery Art 55, Nis, Serbia, Meeting – gallery Sofia philharmonie, Sofia, Bulgaria, One love affair exhibition – Algara Gallery, Sofia, Bulgaria 2013 Drawing – Art alley Gallery, Sofia, Bulgaria, Delicate presence – Algara Gallery, Sofia, Bulgaria and many more. The long list includes further participation in solo and group exhibitions and curatorial projects in countries around the world and covers the period from 2002 to the present days. The exhibition in December 2020 in Sofia is entitled “The Needle Blade”. Emanuela Kovač passed on her knowledge in the field of Graphics as a lecturer at the National Academy of Arts. Her students are already prominent artists who are gaining the interest of domestic and international audiences. She often contributes significantly to their artistic endeavours. The excellent preparation that Emanuela achieves with hard work and diligence brings her Allianz Bulgaria National Art Awards Award for Graphics and Allianz Bulgaria Regional Competition Sofia in 2010, the Award for Graphics International Biennial of Graphic Art Varna, Bulgaria Second Equivalent Prize and International Biennial of Graphic Art Minsk, Belarus – Prize for Technical Achievements in 2009 and M-Tel Contemporary Bulgarian Art Awards Nomination in 2007.
In his work Kovach often reflects on the human states, which in the process and development she unfolds in rich graphic cycles. In them she fully reveals herself as an artist, wife and mother, observer and psychologist of destinies.
