Rosen Markovski was born in 1964 in Troyan, where he graduated from the Art School of Applied Arts. He graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia. However, as he himself claims, the Academy as an education does not give him anything serious, and the main creative engine for him becomes the environment and contact with other artists. Years of experimentation followed, in which other art forms were present – Rosen Markovski was a guitarist in several rock bands from the mid-90s until today, he is the author of experimental films without a budget, he writes poems and short stories. In his creative biography he has over 50 solo exhibitions in Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, France, Norway, Czech Republic, Hungary, numerous paintings in private collections in Europe and the USA, as well as participation in joint exhibitions, group projects and performances.
Markovski has been working in Perugia, Italy for several years, participating in Bulgarian and foreign projects and a series of performances.
