Samuel Kuijper is a young Dutch artist whose impressive artworks are standing out from the perspective of bold use of the materials, saturation and forms. Currently a student at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, he is discovering new borders of his artistic nature and character. Sam unveils the dark spirits with a play of light and shadows. This constant play defines his personal touch and highlights a combination between the realities and the state of lucid dreams. The approach behind his working process is giving him space to experiment not only with the shapes and techniques but also with the instruments and the matter of the art per se. This is moving him on the interdisciplinary level which creates a contemporary mixture of artistic expressions.
